Turbos

Technical definition of a turbo

The purpose of the turbo is to increase the pressure of the air/fuel mixture in the cylinders to optimise filling levels, and therefore efficiency and power. To do so, the engine needs to be supercharged by compressing the air. The turbo compressor comprises two distinct parts: on one side, a turbine, which is driven by the exhaust gases produced by the engine, and on the other side, a compressor, the shaft of which connects it to the turbine, which is located on the air intake duct, downstream of the engine.

Our turbos are collected within our network, analysed, and then sold directly in full batches.

LDA has implemented industrial procedures to be able to process large volumes within the shortest possible delay, and to ensure parts are delivered to our customers rapidly.
