Spheres

Technical definition of a sphere

For Citroen, a sphere is used as a shock absorber. It uses a neutral gas (nitrogen) and hydraulic fluid, separated by a rubber membrane. The force absorbed by the wheels when they encounter an obstacle (pot hole, bump, etc) is transmitted by the hydraulic fluid under pressure, which compresses the nitrogen contained in the spheres. When the gas expands, it pushes the liquid and the vehicle falls back into its angle of lie.

Our spheres are collected within our network, analysed, and then sold directly in full batches.

LDA has implemented industrial procedures to be able to process large volumes within the shortest possible delay, and to ensure parts are delivered to our customers rapidly.
