Catalytic converters

Technical definition of a catalytic converter

A catalytic converter is a part placed at the engine outlet to purify evacuated gases. Vehicle engines only combust fuel partially, and therefore reject un-burnt chemicals. Under normal working conditions, a catalytic converter can catalyse up to 99% of the harmful gases given off by the engine. This catalyser is made of precious metals such as platinum, palladium and rhodium as these metals optimise the reactions between the gases given off by the engine.

Our catalytic converters are collected within our network, analysed, and then sold directly in full batches.

LDA has implemented industrial procedures to be able to process large volumes within the shortest possible delay, and to ensure parts are delivered to our customers rapidly.
